When Robin Sipe of Grottoes, VA went in for her recent visit with Pulmonary and Critical Care Specialist Dr. Earl King, he noticed she wasn't doing so well. Sipes recently lost her beloved cat Detura and was feeling heartbroken. So, Dr. King provided her with the best prescription. A new kitten named Erlene.
“I’d recommended that proceed to get a new cat and I actually wrote her a prescription to get a cat,” says Dr. King. “Cats and dogs are important for patients for comfort or touch or wellbeing of their cardiovascular health, lung health.”
Dr. Earl King has been a pulmonologist for over 36 years and has provided the best service to patients in the Sentara Healthcare family.
